Chassis Chassis 2

[Under Construction]

On the left is a view of the car showing the simple but strong wooden construction.

The roll bars are steel bolted strongly to the chassis.

The batteries are mounted either side of the driver between the wheels.

You can see the 2 coke bottles that are the water cooling storage devices strapped to the rear roll bar.

Steering is via the ‘U’ shaped tube which passes under the drivers knees.

On the top of the steering tubes are the horn (in red) and motor ON buttons. Also visible are the speedometer, indictor switch, mirror, gear change lever and next to the speedometer is the over current warning lamp (barley visible).

The drum brake is visible in the wheel centre. The white clips hold the bubble lid on via a bar that goes across the lid.
