In this view of the rear, the brake light and the battery isolating switch are nearest the camera.
Behind is the lay shaft. The motor wrapped in copper tube is behind the rear leg of the roll over bar, with its modified motor mount. The 7 speed gear block is to the left of the motor. The coke bottles feed their water to the copper cooling pipe via gravity and flexible hoses. From above the profile of the car is an aerofoil and the tail shape can be seen in this shot. Image below
To the right of the motor is the Hall effect current sensor (grey box) and over current LED drive box with the blue potentiometer just visible. The relay that caused the breakdown is the black box. At the bottom right just visible is the 12v isolator driven from the main isolator. |
