The Foam plug taking shape October 2008. It was then sent away to be sheathed in
glass fibre which was probably a mistake as it was so hard to get smooth again,
although it did make it less likely to get dents in it which was a problem we'd
been having.
The foam plug sheathed in glass fibre smoothed and sprayed ready to be mounted
on its base board.
The base board shows the top down profile of the car.

The middle is designed to lift up to allow for battery changes.
