Portaprompt appoints Praman as its New Indian Agent. Portaprompt are pleased to announce the appointment of Praman, a New Deli based company, as its New Indian Agent and Distributor. Portaprompt manufacturers of Broadcasting equipment since 1963 is delighted to announce the appointment of Praman as the company’s agent for India.
Praman (India) a company that has been selling successfully to the Broadcast Market for the last 25 years is owned and managed by Manjul Prabhat and his wonderful wife Urmila, both with Degrees in Electronic Engineering.
Manjul is a young veteran of the Broadcasting Industry and started his career as a Graduate of Cinematography and as a Director of Photography made many documentaries, commercials and Feature Films.
Praman has been selling teleprompting products successfully for the last 25 years and has also been highly successful in selling 14 Newsroom & Automation systems in the last 16 years. Praman have also been representing Quantel for many years and have in the last year sold into India over one million dollars of Quantel product.

Portaprompt appoints Variovision as its New German Agent Portaprompt are pleased to announce the appointment of Variovision, a Munich based company, as its New German Agent and Distributor. Peter Pannier, a graduate of electronics and communications, the CEO of Variovision, is a young veteran of the Broadcasting Industry. He has worked on both sides of the Industry with a long career at the German Television ARD- station and then for many years with one of the most successful distributors in Germany. Following a short spell as Managing Director Snell & Wilcox Germany Peter has concentrated on building up Variovision to be a leading supplier to the Broadcast Industry in Germany. A great Engineer he has patents in the video domain to his credit. Variovision also represents Shotoku one of the leading manufacturers of robotic camera and camera support systems. |
