HAND AND FOOT CONTROLS FOR WINDIGI PROMPTING SOFTWARE

USB, WIRED and WIRELESS 

The USB local hand control, shown on left, can be used by both right and left handed people. Speed of the prompter is continuously variable by means of a rotary potentiometer.

The unit incorporates a 'top of text' facility that allows instant return to top of text after rehearsals, together with forward/reverse direction switch.

The hand held controller comes with a standard length of 1m USB cable.

It is supplied as standard with WinDigi and WinDigi Lite Plus packages

 It can also be connected to a remote foot control, remote hand control or our News Box via a standard BNC cable.

This can allow several presenters to operate the prompter but if the foot controls are not being used, this local control controls the software. Ideal for back-up.

  The wireless 3 Button Key fob control (left) disappears in the hand of the presenter making it invisible to the audience and ideal for self operation of the prompter. This is especially useful when used with the NanoPrompt System. The 3 buttons control, forward, reverse and return to top of story.

Used with our wireless USB dongle (right) the control gives a range of up to 30 meters (100 feet) in line of sight.

The variable speed wireless remote control gives the presenter the freedom to roam the studio whilst controlling the speed of the prompter. It also has 2 buttons with programmable functions which include scroll direction, story selection and page jumping. These functions vary depending on the type of WinDigi purchased.

Used with our wireless USB dongle gives a range of up to 30 meters (100 feet) in line of sight.

This wireless option is now available for the Accelerator foot control below. The hand and foot controls can be used together as they work on different frequencies via a special base unit. The base unit is also able to take a wired hand and or foot controls to act as a back up if required.

NEW ‘Accelerator’ type foot control

This unit comes complete with a 25 metres BNC interconnecting cable, and the length can be adjusted to suit customer's requirements at a slight increase in cost, the recommended maximum length of cable run is 250 metres.

The foot control is designed to be left under a desk with little maintenance.

The controls can be simply daisy chained using standard BNC ‘T’ pieces allowing several presenters to control the same prompter.

There is a direction switch on the top of the foot control to reverse the scroll if required.

The foot control can have an optional desk mounted keypad attached to enable the presenter to control such things as, select story, skip paragraphs, select font, adjust font size, eye-line position and reset the running order. These functions vary depending on the type of WinDigi purchased.

Designed for but not limited to, News environments.

It provides a remote hand speed control and a keypad to enable the presenter to control such things as which story to use, jump paragraphs, select font, adjust font size, eye-line position and reset the running order, as well as the speed of the prompter. It can be used in conjunction with foot controls if preferred

These functions are not available on Windigi Lite or WinDigi Lite Plus.
