Wireless variable speed hand control.

The variable speed wireless remote control gives the presenter the freedom to roam the studio whilst controlling the speed of the prompter. It also has 2 buttons with programmable functions which include scroll direction, story selection and paragraph jumping. These functions vary depending on the type of WinDigi purchased.

Used with our wireless USB dongle gives a range of up to 30 meters (100 feet) in line of sight.

The flat panel displays have been engineered to obtain the very best brightness and contrast. They are equally at home on the front of a camera, on a conference glass stand or direct reading making the investment more cost effective.

The Quasar Ultra Bright panels are fitted with a very high brightness backlights making them suitable for outside use.

The Premium 15" display is for use in less demanding situations where the Ulta high bright Back lights are not required

VoiceDigi automatic voice operated prompting

Portaprompt are pleased to announce, for IBC 2006, a NEW Strategic Partnership and Alliance with Starfish Technologies. Portaprompt will be interfacing its Windigi Software to the Starfish’s ISIS subtitling software, to automatically create subtitling captions. It is planned as part of the Strategic Partnership, a joint development of VoiceDigi, an affordable, multilingual Voice Activated Prompter for delivery in the last quarter of 2006. Both companies have a long track record in innovative design, R& D, software development and customer service, satisfaction and timely delivery.

Presenter Display System

The Presenter Display system allows the presenter to see his location in virtual sets by displaying the mixed transmitted image. It is rigged off the exiting camera plates making it simple to add to existing sites or to new ones.

Fitting either the 12", 15" or 17" video display beneath the on camera prompter means the presenter eye line is not compromised whilst viewing the transmission in the display. The system uses our Premium or Quasar range of displays for optimum performance and flexibility, but it is also possible to mount suitable third party TFT video displays to the rigging with little or no modification if preferred.
