Quantum Rigging Plate

for Quasar and Premium Prompting Displays

The design encompasses all that is great about Portaprompt’s “Keep it Simple, Fit for Purpose” philosophy. The Quantum Plates have the display, hood, hood stay anchor, the camera mount and a telescoping counter balance weight all integrated into the package. Simple to operate and understand, it will be the design others will envy.

 

The Quantum Plates with their narrow footprints are ideal for rigging on lightweight and standard tripods and with all sizes of robotic heads and robotic post heads from Vinten, Shotoku and Panasonic.
  

The telescoping weights are removable to give even more flexibility, with 0 to 2.5Kg available in half kilogram steps on the large plate and 0 to 0.75 in quarter kilo steps on the mini plate. 

MINI QUANTUM DIGI PLATE.

The Mini Quantum Plate is able to mount Portaprompts’ 9”, 10.4” and 12” displays on smaller cameras like the Panasonic convertible cameras and the Sony Z1. It is smaller and lighter than the larger Quantum Digi Plate which reduces the overall weight of the prompter and rigging to such an extent that it is possible to rig larger displays on smaller robotic heads than previously possible.

The  mounting and the adjustable telescopic counter balance weights are shown here with differing display sizes. The telescoping weights are shown in various positions and combinations to achieve the perfect balance.
