WinDigi Lite and Lite Plus are cut down versions of our powerful WinDigi prompting software package for Windows.  They have been introduced to suit the requirements of smaller operations that do not require the power of the full version of WinDigi.  

No special graphics card is required as the software uses the standard video card supplied with your PC.  True Type® fonts are scaled giving large easy-to-read characters which are smoothly scrolled with a controller.  The WinDigi range of products have been developed by Portaprompt who have over twenty five years of experience in the field of prompting sales and hire. The Editor uses Rich Text Format making it compatible with all the world’s favourite word processors. The text can be formatted and styled, for example by using underlining, bold, italics, colour, centring, indenting, justification and bullet points, making the WinDigi range the most powerful yet affordable prompter Portaprompt have developed to date.

Hand or Foot remote control options for WinDigi Plus only

White characters on black background or black on white with other colours remaining intact.

Requires Pentium III 350 processor or better (2000/NT require 450MHz Pentium P111) and 1 USB for Lite Plus version. 1 x USB Port is required for the Lite version.

Composite video monitors require a VGA to Video converter which can be supplied by Portaprompt. some Pc's and laptops have video outputs fitted.

The Roll Screen (below) is clear and simple to read assisting the presenter to minimize reading errors.  The Text is smoothly scrolled using the mouse scroll wheel for WinDigi Lite or either a hand or foot remote control for WinDigi Lite Plus.

It is possible to jump to different Page/Items via the keyboard enabling the running order to be changed easily whilst on air.  These jumps points are simply entered into the text where ever they are required.

The only real difference between WinDigi Lite and WinDigi Lite Plus is the device that controls the speed of the scrolling text.

To the left is a suitable mouse fitted with a scroll wheel which is required to control the speed of the text with WinDigi Lite.
