Update to Quasar Range
With immediate effect all our Quasar monitors now also have standard DVI signal input which can also be used as a HDMI Input with a suitable adaptor (not supplied).
Standard input signals to Quasars are:-
Cue Pwr - is a low power 12v output for powering tally light accessories
VGA input - Standard VGA signals may be fed to this connector. The monitor is set to auto detect picture signals at the factory, if for some unforeseen reason it changes there will may not be video displayed on the screen. It can be changed back to automatic via the on screen menu.
DVI Input - Standard DVI signals. Can also be used as a HDMI Input with a suitable adaptor (not supplied).
HD-SDI Input / output - Quasar 15”, 17”, 19”, 21”, 24” 32” only. The HD-SDI (High-Definition - Serial Digital Interface) input enables the Portaprompt LCD display to support single HD-SDI connections, thus providing a highly featured alternative to expensive HD-SDI monitors or external adaptor devices. Note: - The SDI input is converted to HDMI internally in the display
Cue (Tally) Light sensor input is available at the Hirose 3 pin plug.
Composite video input - Connect your 1V pp composite video feed into the video loop through auto 75 Ohm terminating connections.
