CONFERENCE AND EVENTS PRODUCTS

Conference Display Stands are used by Presenters, Public Speakers and Lecturers who require that little extra help to boost self-confidence and enhance general presentation. The glass mounted above the monitor can either be free standing or contained within a lectern or desk (supplied by user) to suit the presentation.
The basic system uses lightweight telescopic poles that are easy to transport and almost invisible from the front of stage, so the audience only sees clear glass. The Stands have fully adjustable height and tilt and are suitable for all flat backed monitors from 10″ to 19″ diagonal. The prompting source is provide by our WinDigi Software.
We offer two solutions:-
Motorised Conference Glass (MCG)
The newly designed MCG rig is significantly lighter and slimmer than our previous product (5.8kg compared to 9kg) making them easy to use and rig and also brings the benefit of reducing transport and shipping costs.
A new hand controller (A) for setting the required heights can control up 15 motorised poles over the network. The control signals are sent up a standard BNC cable.
MCG stands come into their own when there are many speakers who inevitably are of differing heights. Each presenter has their own stand height stored at rehearsals, which are instantly recalled by simply pressing their number on the key pad of the hand control.
A significant benefit of using MCG poles is that they can retract fully (B) so they can disappear beneath the stage if required and can be surrounded by “shroud covers”

Manual Conference Glass
Telescopic stands provide the same functionality as Motorised Conference Glass but have to be adjusted manually if you wish to change the height or lose them completely beneath the stage.
Easily transportable as the glass case fits in the stand base and the 2 bases clip together for shipping

Monitors
For MCG / CG’s we recommend using either 15” or 17” monitors.
All Fusion / Flipping Fusion IT style mid budget displays and our Premium and Quasar Broadcast Prompting monitors can be used

Conference Monitor Hides
Honeycomb Monitor Hides are used to reduce the viewing angle of a large display which is usually situated behind the audience.
The honeycomb hide is simply attached to the front of the display where it will reduce the likelihood of the audience spotting the prompting text and “joining in” with the presenter.
We have also used these in TV studio sets to hide displays from the contestants and audience in game shows.
We offer all sizes up 103″ and can offer customised sizes and colours. The standard honeycomb cell size and depth for comfortable viewing angle is about ±6°. This equates to the presenter being able to move 1m left or right from the optimum position, at a reading distance of 10m from the display.
The pictures shows a display photographed directly from the front and then at angle with a hide attached. The further away the presenter is the wider the viewing angle.
We also have an online video which shows a 42″ panel behind one of our honeycomb hides being rotated to show initially the straight on front view and then as the display rotates the image dims, blanks out and then comes back showing the blanking is symmetrical.
